DESCRIPTION:Registration\nThis session will be in person at the VDC in Collins St\, Melbourne. It costs $175\, and we will email you an invoice after the session. Please check your spam folder or let us know if you don’t receive your invoice within seven days of the session. To enable us to continue providing subsidised training to the sector\, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations within seven days of the session. \nCourse description\nThis full-day training is designed for staff working directly or indirectly with people supported by the Specialist Homelessness Sector (SHS). The session will guide you in prioritising self-care\, focusing on practical strategies to manage stress\, mitigate vicarious trauma\, and maintain your well-being. You’ll learn to apply essential self-care principles and integrate them into your daily practice to support your professional effectiveness and personal resilience. For more information about the trainer and the session\, visit the MOAT website. \nTrainer Bio\nBryan Jeffrey is a Registered Psychiatric Nurse and\, since 1995\, has been employed in a range of senior clinical positions in Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and Adult Mental Health in Scotland and\, latterly\, in Melbourne\, Australia.\nThroughout his career\, Bryan saw gaps in mental health literacy in people hungry for knowledge and decided to focus the attention of MOAT: Mental Health Services on meeting these needs.\nFrom delivering keynote addresses at national conferences to providing workshops for small groups of staff and carers\, Bryan’s passion is mental health training. \nImportant information \n\nThis session costs $175.
