Victorian Ombudsman launches investigation into public and community housing complaint handling

The Victorian Ombudsman has launched an investigation into how public and community housing complaints are handled in a bid to improve processes and ensure fairness. Ombudsman Deborah Glass said effective complaints handling was essential “for accountability, transparency, and confidence in the system. It’s expected her findings will be released within months, and feed into a separate  process to update social housing regulation.
