There has finally been an agreement with the federal government and the Greens on the Housing Australia Future Fund. The Bill will likely be passed this week after negotiations secured a further $1bn for community and public housing. The Greens had previously blocked the bill, making a list of demands including a national freeze on rental increases, which did not pass. You can read the media release here
