I am sharing this link below to raise awareness so that if you are working with someone who is living with a disability and requires legal information and advice with their accommodation, or has concerns, Villamanta offers legal support if the person lives in either:
- Specialist disability accommodation (SDA)
- Housing where your NDIS supports are linked to your housing (like a Supported Independent Living house (‘SIL House’)
- A Support Residential Service (SRS)
What they can help with:
- Concerns about safety, violence, abuse, neglect
- Tenancy rights issues like privacy, repairs, damage, pets
- Issues with rent
- Being told you have to leave
- Representation at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal
