A New Direction Home: The Future of Leaving Care
The Council to Homeless Persons (CHP) are seeking submissions for the February edition of Parity Magazine.
This edition will examine changes in the management and regulation of out of home care (OoHC) since 2016, including what extending care would, or should, look like following the extension of the age of leaving care to 21.
It will explore the implications of extending care on the supports, programs, and services that assist the transition of young people from OoHC to independence.
