Melbourne City Mission’s Family Reconciliation Mediation Program (FRMP) is pleased to invite you to participate in the one-day forum, Youth Centered Family Focused Interventions. Exploring what it takes.

The forum will provide a space for practitioners who engage with young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to explore a variety of youth centered family focused interventions that are being utilised by different organisations, as well as to harvest new perspectives and directions for their work with young people and families.

The Forum will consist of four presentations and discussions that will allow for active dialogue around family-centered approaches, including best practice strategies when working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and socioeconomically diverse families

Presenting agencies include:

  • Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA)
  • The Bouverie Centre, La Trobe University
  • Anglicare Victoria
  • Uniting Communities, South Australia

Morning tea and lunch will be provided. The Forum is FREE to attend but registrations are essential.
