We bring you this article from ABC that highlights the lack of affordable housing in the state of Western Australia.
The sad thing is, it’s happening in Victoria too, and indeed, the whole country! What a very sad state of affairs too many people are facing.
It was reported in June of this year that Mildura’s vacancy rate was 1.1% and when we had a look on Realestate.com there were only nine properties for rent in Mildura and surrounding towns that were under $300.
In Greater Bendigo, it’s worse! There were on two properties that came in under $300.
But wait for it… in Maryborough Central Goldfields, there are NO rentals under $300.
So we had a look at the data for Echuca, and there was one property under $300, the same for Macedon Ranges Shire.
